The City of Sherwood Urban Renewal Agency worked with a private developer to redevelop a former brick manufacturing plant and cannery adjacent to downtown Sherwood. HHPR provided design and construction management services for public street improvements around and through the site. The street improvements included a mixture of festival street and green street characteristics such as decorative paving, specialty lighting, a “curbless” street section, holiday lighting, green street facilities, and electric vehicle charging stations. In addition to the public street infrastructure the project includes a public plaza with play fountain, a performing arts community center and commercial and residential development.
