Clackamas County, Oregon
HHPR, working with North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District (NCPRD) through the ODOT Local Government Program, provided project management and design services for the six-mile Trolley Trail. This multi-use trail runs between Kellogg Creek in downtown Milwaukie and Glen Echo Avenue in Gladstone along the old Portland Traction trolley right-of-way. HHPR managed a multidisciplinary team to provide full trail design services including environmental documentation, landscape design, stormwater treatment, traffic engineering, right of way, and permitting. HHPR’s scope of work included refinement of the previously completed Trail Master Plan in order to help secure funding. HHPR also provided construction management services for the trail. The project received the Design of the Year Award from the Oregon Parks and Recreation Association.
